Some of you, I believe, are already done with your holiday decorating, but for those out there who did not do this yet and your busy lives do not allow you to put layers and layers of holiday decor around the house, here is an easy and simple decor idea for your holiday mantel decor.
The main idea of this decor style is to use things that you find around the house and to recreate ways how to make ordinary things look festive.
I created this mantel decor in less then 15 minutes. I used a black tray with gold handles that I already own for a few years now. I just flipped it over, and added a big white snowflake that I had from a previous year. On the mantel I added some greenery, and topped it with some festive candle holders. On one side i placed three paper stars which are a simple DIY.
On the floor I placed two paper/fabric cones which I DIY-ed last year for my mantel decor, and I gave them a new look for this year.
For a modern look, instead of placing a chair on a side of the fireplace, I placed two DIY poufs. You can find instructions for making this pouf here.
So within minutes I sort of achieved a festive look, and I am liking it a lot. Also, the look can be easily changed, depending on the mood, by adding or replacing decor elements on and around the fireplace.

Dekorim Festiv i Kaminit – Thjeshte, Shpejte dhe Lehte
Besoj se disa nga ju tani me keni perfunduar me dekorimet per festat e fundvitit, megjithate per ata te cilet ende nuk e kan bere kete pasi qe axhendat e tyre te ngarkuara nuk ju mundesojne qe te ndajne kohe per te bere dekorime, ja se si munde te beni nje dekorim te thjeshte, te shpejte dhe te lehte per kaminin t’uaj kete vit.
Ideja e ketije stili dekorues eshte qe te perdoren gjerat e zakonshme te cilat i gjejme ne shtepi dhe gjetjen e menyrave se si t’i riperdorim gjerat e zakonshme dhe ti bejme ato te duken festive.
Dekorimi e ketije kamini u be per me pak se 15 minuta. E perdora nje tabake te zeze me doreza ngjyre ari te cilen e kam qe sa vite. E ktheva nga ana e pasme dhe i vendosa nje dekor fluske bore siper, te cilen gjithashtu e kisha nga viti i kaluar . Siper kaminit vendosa degeza bredhi nga kopshti, dhe siper tyre vendosa disa mbajtese festive te qirive. Ne njeren ane te kaminit vendosa disa ylleza punim dore nga letra e bardhe, ndersa ne dysheme afer kaminit vendosa konat nga materiali dhe letra e bardhe te punuar vitin e kaluar per dekorin e kaminit. Per t’ju dhene nje dukje te re konat i redekorova dhe ja pershtata konceptit dekorues per kete vit. Per nje pamje moderne, ne anen tjeter te kaminit, ne dysheme, poashtu vendosa edhe dy jasteket e dyshemes (poufs) te qepur rishtazi. Nje te tille e kisha qepur disa vite me pare, dhe instrukcionet per qepje gjenden ne kete link.
Keshtu pra brenda disa minutave arijta te krijoi nje pamje festive te kaminit e cila po duket shume bukur. Gjithashtu, pamja e ketije dekori munde te ndryshohet lehte, varesisht nga disponimi, duke shtuar ose zevendesuar elementet dekorative reth kaminit.
